After trying different Kernel / NVIDIA driver versions, it seems that the issue was introduced with Kernel version 5.7. Kernel version 5.6 with nvidia-dkms 450.57 is working without any problems....

Thank you, @Askannz! Now it works again without the systemd-sleep script.

This would be a great feature. I can't use the app and have to use wireguard config files right now for this use case.
