Thank you! You can disable opens "Manage groups" as tab and it will open in new window and hide (close) after selecting tab to open. 

I just tested and the Manage Groups tab closes after selecting a tab in it. This only happens if a tab from another group is selected.

This is too much logic that is difficult to implement in the current version of the addon. Maybe someday I will add such functionality, maybe it will be a supplement...
