An error occurred during video upscaling, likely due t0 a GPU driver timeout.Restart the process without deleting the upscaled frames tO resume and complete the upscaling

Hi my friend,

Do you get this error often? Can you describe your pc? Are you using AI multithreading? Have you updated windows to the latest version available? Are the GPU drivers up to date?

Hi just to say to OP, look at the log they show the issue nicely (in my case, wrong ffmpeg install + too old driver)

I get the same problem, always during the upscaling phase. Happens regularly. @builder-main where do I find the log?

Hi my friends @builder-main @github-pmj

The problem is mainly due to AI multithreading, where the GPU does not properly handle some frames that are sent to it.

My advice is:

  • first upgrade Windows to the latest version
  • use the Nvidia Drivers Studio (which are the most stable)
  • lower the AI multithreading value to 6 or 4

in any case I'm still working on finding a fix for this problem, often it doesn't happen so it's hard to understand why
