@wwmm I'm luckily reproducing the case where the Limiter is the only effect emitting a weird sound. Look at `pw-top`: The only strange value is the BUSY one.

Thanks for the report. @wwmm We should also translate `None` since it's not a preset name and we generally show translated strings on the command line.

Maybe we should output something as `No preset set`.

Looking at this [image](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/trummerschlunk/master_me/master/img/screenshot-expert.png), it seems something you can replicate in Easy Effects with a custom pipeline.

Same to me, but it's randomly happening as I stated in #4085. Can you try to downgrade pipewire to test if the crackling sound occurs?

Regarding the speed issue, are you using easyeffects-git from AUR? Can you reproduce on the stable version?
