Maybe it would be better to use sys.executable [(Python 2 docs)](https://docs.python.org/2/library/sys.html#sys.executable) [(Python 3 docs)](https://docs.python.org/3/library/sys.html#sys.executable) to find the path to the Python interpreter? Looks like there can be several editwithidle commands...
