Alternative bandit skins
Somewhere in the project files I have seen that different bandit skins for different bandit levels were suggested.
Arma 2 provides some really nice skins that fits better than the current german soldier skin (which has a wrong coloring and a radio on it). Those ones look more russian and bandit like...

The problem with alot of skins they have no backpack proxy so they will have to wait a little
What does this mean? Do you need to add the backpacks to each skin?
pretty much we would have to find the skins we would like to use then add backpack proxys to each one before we can do anything.
Those skins you suggested are basically free camo, I like that you are exposed as a bandit with a bright skin that can be seen easily and I play as a bandit personally.
@thcnox Agreed
@thcNox Agreed
In the future I'm not against the current White Bandit Skin as being the worst of the bandit skins and have more of a sliding scale into Banditry but not instant camo. Cool looking skins though.
@thcNox Agreed the bandit skin should definitely be a detriment, not a benefit. I'm all for an additional transition skin like Smurf mentioned. The Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) group has some bandit looking skins that have lighter colors on them that would make them stand out a bit but not as much as the current bandit skin.
Yeah, the camo-thing is something I havent thought about. @bchawke you mean these ones: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/File:Arma2_INS_ak47.jpg
Otherwise we could add them as clothes items. I really like most of them because they look much more dangerous than the current bandit skin!
I do like the idea of being able to tell the difference between a -4000 humanity bandit and one who has -300000 though
Yeah me too! I'm pretty sure that players wont react like: "Oh I get some parts of my clothes as camo when I'm bandit - lets kill 3453543 players to get that"
They do been there and tested it before. We removed the camo and used a head scarf it was the exact same.
This is a great idea! more skins depending on players level, this would keep players interested in playing the game, not sure if all the skin above are bandit looking. what about clothing for hero's?
The current system mainly helps people who are willing to die rather then survive by killing an enemy survivor (quite contradictory to the survivor term), and lets people kill bandits without consequences. Maybe the term bandit and the punishments that come with it, for example, no humanity deducted when someones kills them, and the obvious white camo should be removed. The skins should become spectrum which purely reflect humanity as it's intended, so that if someone manages spots them, they know they should not be trusted and perhaps avoided, not a punishment of the bandit playstyle.
