I just installed 4.0.1 on my Mac and the non-compression issue seems to have been resolved.

BTW it looks wrong in an exported PDF as well. I'm using the font in a music program called "Finale".

It also goes wrong in LibreOffice, so that suggests one of the dimensions is off. BTW is "space" treated specially?
