My locale is en-US so the filenames and patterns from facebook would go along with that. I don't know if it is the issue, but facepaste looks for specific names...

Yup the non-english facebook pages must have different names. That happens when it cannot find anything labeled "fbPhotoImage" or "fbPhotosPhotoActionsItem"
