Can you make it a bit clearer? By 'close' do you mean the red button on the Mac menubar?

I think this maybe a Mac specific issue, I use a Linux desktop with Mac-like menubar buttons and it works fine for me.

Menu bar undo and redo options doesn't work when new line is inserted.

I couldn't recreate this in my Arch Linux system, the undo and redo buttons are working for me. Im using an older version, 2.14.20
