Alternating Gap between Tabs

Is the gap between Tabs supposed to alternate between a small gap and no gap? And if so is there any way to change that?

A coherent size and look of all Game sources like is displayed in the Library / Games view. Currently almost all sources list their games with covers in different sizes...
