Do you think it could be feasible in the future to run the server on a linux based environment (like an RPi?) without virtualizing MacOS?

I have an orange pi PC 2 and I'm waiting too. So bad that the only supported device is raspberry pi

I have the same issue. My iphone is not shown anymore on the fingerprint and it is reported as not_home. It will popup immediately when the screen is turned on...
