With Hamachi you have at least 100ms ping in the free plan. Or at least that was the case long time ago.
It is confirmed that the .sf2 selector has the same issue. Based on the code it seems to be that the bug is in Build, somewhere in the file system...
Have you followed the steps in the readme.md? Do you have the GOG version?
Why no Snap or AppImage?
Maybe give BloodGDX a try, it has OpenAL and also you can just drop in multiple zips into its autoload folder and it will load all of them.
Is `glxgears` works fine? Maybe sharing the output of `glxinfo` , `dmesg | egrep -i 'drm|agp'` and `cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log` could help.
On Fedora 35 it works with an Intel 965GM. Software renderer has much better performance than OpenGL though. The sound is broken tough because all I can hear is cracking...
On my Fedora, MESA version is 21.3.7. Graphics didn't work at all with Debian when I tried it last time, that's why I'm using Fedora on this old Core 2...
