Unfortunately, this is still an issue in 2023. I _did_ find https://github.com/Azure/azure-webjobs-sdk-extensions/blob/2ca41057bb8a7752cfb4e311c287a65eb8fedfc5/src/WebJobs.Extensions/Extensions/Timers/Config/TimerWebJobsBuilderExtensions.cs , which (with its `AddTimers` functions) seems related, but frankly there's not enough inline documentation in that file...
