On a triple check, there is still popping when loading environments, but it is a *lot* less frequent. Previously it was non-stop popping, stuttering, and cutting out when the game...

A working solution for the end-user would be to add the variations to a new group, which indirectly causes Chisel to lookup the item references again. Unfortunately, it's not possible...

I literally explained how to fix it with CraftTweaker/ModTweaker in the message above. Adding all of the carpets to a new chisel group (causing it to lookup the items again...

The bigger issue here is that it bypasses protection. That is what should be fixed, not adding a feature option to disable it as a workaround
