Ability to link to multiple Github repositories

Open i2000s opened this issue 8 years ago • 8 comments

It would be nice to allow an OSF project to be connected with multiple GitHub repositories. In my case, I have been using at least 3 Github repositories (for various templates and source codes) and one GitLab repository (for data) for one of my projects.

Thank you for considering!

Hey @i2000s, thanks for the feedback. We keep track of feature requests to help inform future development, so I'll add your note to our internal tracker. There is a workaround for this that might help in the interim - you can connect a different github repo to each component in your project. Hope that helps!

Good to hear that. I will try the idea of using different components later. Thank you for making this tool for Open Science.

I'd also like to add multiple GitLab repositories, or a project that contains multiple sub-projects would also do

I also would like to do this: I've got one repo for the pre-registration and one for the main project and it would be nice to have them as separate components in the same osf page
