any updates on how to fix this, have the same issue on my end... using doom emacs and only have (setq org-journal-enable-encryption t) in my config

After switching from company to corfu this issue has gone away

any fix?

after switching to corfu and nixd , completions now work flawlessly

It looks kinda ugly 

Its not persistent , it doesn't go away on its own however (i have to press a button or move my mouse to make it go away) I am using...

Oh thats much better, is there anyway to change the colour?
