I noticed that the configuration is already exposed and works. This setting does enable or disable the Dashboard, but, does not automatically redirect the users to it if enabled. 
Well specifically, the client portal link. However, I assume is just loading the Customer Portal Index page, then redirecting to Invoices page. I suppose I was expecting the Customer Portal...
