I'm having this exact same issue

Have you tried updating the chocolate quest mod to 2.5.3B it seemed to have worked for me

Everything is working now

I don't play on fabric modloader so I don't know about fabric but with forge yes i can't start any modpack. Can confirm unable to lauch both forge and fabric

This same issue is also present in the 1.1.29 version

sigh This issue still persists in version 1.1.30 as well

I'm on Windows not Mac

I am also having that same bug on forge, aside from that glaring bug it's a fun mod to play with
