We're looking at improvements we can make to sphinx-tags but getting the tags in and getting it working is the goal of this PR.
I want to add tags to all the examples and discuss the initial set of tags we want to use in this PR so I'm marking as draft.

Oh that's going to be a royal pain.
Mainly that it sounds like it's going to be hard to support both versions of the limited API. We might end up having to build "full fat" versions of 3.15+...
But not supporting the new limited API and the old one at once right? So we'd re-write to the new limited API after we are 3.14< or am I misreading...

Given the recent acceptance of PEP 810: https://discuss.python.org/t/pep-810-explicit-lazy-imports/104131/466 This will become more relevant with the release of Python 3.15
I think there should be a changelog for people who write their own models, they don't need to define these properties any more?
I think your explanation makes sense, so I am not going to insist on a changelog. Happy to ship this in 7.0rc and see what happens.
