Not able to use MaterialDesignAlternateTabablzControlStyle with TabablzControl Left Tabplacement

Hello,

I am having an issue with having TabablzControl with TabStripPlacement="Left" and using the MaterialDesignAlternateTabablzControlStyle. It doesn't look like this style is being applied correctly. Thoughts?
