i can just say that i tested zstd-19 with a 512mb memory constrained device with no issues. but it was real hardware. not a emulator

zstd-19 with 64 cores? nice. or to make it short. how to consume all of your 128 gb ram at once. your bug is very likelly a out of memory...
but a recordsize of 1M (or 128kb by default) will span over multiple sectors. so doing it on sector alignment is okay, but sectorsize as maximum boundary makes no sense.
