I had the exact same issue, I replied in the other issue you mentioned this one in.

I have tried to manually add repositories for previous versions of linux mint to my sources list and update my apt cache - I added the following lines: deb https://packagecloud.io/AllToMP3/alltomp3/linuxmint/...

Update: I tried installing via the deb file in the latest release (0.3.18) but this is what I got: 

Exactly the same issue here, if I find anything on the causes of the error I will mention it here.
