Can still reproduce this issue with: Atom : 1.28.0-dev-603dc5a05 Electron: 1.7.11 Chrome : 58.0.3029.110 Node : 7.9.0 Github 0.14.0

I can reproduce this when nothing is open or when the unstaged changes tab is open but not when the git tab is focused.

@maxbrunsfeld how do releases work here? Can I just tag 0.20.0 from the commit and push it? Or is there something else to take into account?
