In Davx5 you can simply turn off the toggles for the caldav todo lists and calendars. Then in tasks you can add a caldav source directly. That's what I had...
Iirc, it cant be disabled once switched on. I meant the toggles on each individual calendar on the account page

Hmm Ok. Enable the permissions again, turn off the switches and trigger a sync from tasks. That should remove the lists from tasks. Then finally disable the permission again
