This happens to me too. JEID brokes some mods like Nature’s Compass.

I can confirm too. A Gravel ore block (Simple Gravel Ores mod) texture changes to another random texture while it is falling. Removing JEID fixed the issue.

This issue does not happen with only JEI installed.

Disabling that setting from Modern Fix fixed the issue, thanks!
