Since the first element of each sequence is mandatory, this should not be an issue ... but I agree that choice of sequence should be avoided

No the group clearly requested deprecations ... furthermore if we remove them all, there will be no version with the deprecation clearly mentioned (most deprecation are in 'next' only)

At the point that will be agreed by the group ... I guess v3, but have no crystal ball ;-)
