Thank you @OrionsGuardian for making this change. It is super handy. I have just been sharing a graph with custom icons and it works.

I have attempted a new install of Constellation on a MacBook and found that I was getting the same issues as mentioned above.

This still appears to be an issue - I have just taken a look and trying to open recent files is not working:

I looked into this on 09 Jan and found that the Zulu icon was still appearing on my Mac

I have taken a look at this, making use of the scripting view. I noticed that the behaviour matches the expected behaviour now. Thank you @OrionsGuardian

This looks good now. I have found that the tiles are populating for me. I have tried this three times and the tiles/open recent are all remaining populated
