"The Fallen Idol" case crashes in the Blue Jazz Room cutscene

Is this a known error is it just a me problem? Everytime I try to play this cutscene when it enters the room it just crashes. 

All GoldSrc games (besides Half-Life) still have incorrect HUD scaling
