Not enough data points in compass calibration.

I am using the APM 2.6 and a Ublox M8N, external compass and GPS. The compass calibration never works in APM planner 2, and when i try using mission planner live compass calibration, no with dots (data points) appear. mission planer 2 simply says not enough data points to calibrate the compass, when using the live calibration.

Had exactly the same problem with an APM2.5 yesterday, ended up changing it for an APM2.6 I had lying around and all went well. Mission Planner just does not work with either of them, as you observed. I ended up using QGroundControl to good effect.

By the way, this is probably better posted to the forum for help as GitHub is for identified bugs and enhancements for current code, which the old APM's are not.
