OK after reading a bit more of the docs, I can see the build variants are in the command palette(ctrl+shift+p) under "Build: get-deps" for example. Nice!
Yes thanks, that was exactly it, I moved my .sublime-project to the same directory as my rebar.config which solved the problem.
Sorry just noticed it Erlang-libs.sublime-completions and Erlang-Libs.sublime-completions not libs.sublime-completions.
After creating symlinks to these files I now see the error... UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xe2 in position 1862: ordinal not in range(128) :-(
