@pdpinch, this PR can be tested on any XBlock Aside that has a `studio_view`. However, the [Thumbs XBlock Aside](https://github.com/openedx/xblock-sdk/blob/master/sample_xblocks/thumbs/thumbs.py#L108) doesn't have a `studio_view_aside` function, so this PR cannot be tested...
