I'm curious how other calculator apps work around this issue so well
128 bits seems to give enough precision for these calculations.
How do other calculators solve this issue? Do they implement their own version of f128?
Also the haptics when moving the cursor past a comma are... broken.

Sure, but then why have any customization at all? Simply put it, people have different use cases and preferences, that's why customization settings exist.
