Infusion set change has the same behaviour. This feature spec would mean that it would be disabled at least half of the time if you change infusion set every 48...

Could you please show the trace where that happens? I'd consider that a bug. eventualBG used to calculate the target should depend on the naive eventual BG and the deviation.

Just looking at the debug output of AAPS (that's the part I did noch check yet if it behaves like Oref1): ZT can be quite short (7 to 11 values)...

The array of course gets shortened as it is rising (towards the end) and above target. This should not affect minZTpredBG. Please ignore my previous objection.
