Is it possible for you to get a screen shot that isn't scaled or compressed it's really hard to see what's going on: 
It's common to high definition displays, a fix will be landing in a couple of days.
Alt+enter should do it, or edit the ini, or delay you gratification a little.
Did you look in the correct location? On windows it would be in: `%AppData%\isledecomp\isle`
