According to https://kernelnewbies.org/Linux_3.14#Memory_management the change happened in kernel 3.14. So, JollaC and Xperia X might not be affected.

Fix GLSL 3.30 is not supported & use GL renderer

@Kimiblock, if running plots from the command line your PR unfortunately does not help.
