Since NeDB supports the browser, we should target it as well! Wouldn't that be nifty? An ODM you can run on the frontend
User may want to validate based on other fields in the model
It's sort of icky to have to make sure you run ko.connect before requiring your models. Would be nice to have the option of just running ko.connect at the top...
This seems... hard, but ultimately would be better than performing validation ourselves.

In the current implementation it's not possible to create an option array of different references.
