In trying to make commontator(will_paginate) and kaminari work together, the page_entries_info method broke and seems to have been fixed(hackily) by the following in `initializers/kamniari_config.rb` to make the bottom .erb code...

Further to this, it appears that on Ubuntu 18.04, the conda config for building the library pulls the 3.x.x version of libprotobuf, changing the build to go against the 2.x.x...

When cloning the repo, make sure to `git clone --recurse-submodules` or `git submodule update --init --recursive` if you already have the repo as those missing filesare contained in the fmt...
