You need to switch to using `native-dot` instead of `dot` give that a try. Seems the devs updated something. Surprised no one has mentioned this change here yet.

Yes @jmbeach app passwords are a good idea for this usage case. I suspect Facebook API has a separate call for using app password over normal password.
