LDC2 fails to compile, complains about unicode syntax error

running the command ```dub build -b release-debug --compiler=ldc2 --arch x86_64-linux-gnu :cli-frontend``` builds everything successfully until something like botan (lost the original build log file) attempts to compiles and displays [sideloadererrorlog.txt](https://github.com/user-attachments/files/17181000/sideloadererrorlog.txt)...

curl: (7) Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 6969 after 0 ms: Couldn't connect to server

Bringing this up again due to lack of fixes (at least on my end) and inactivity of other threads. Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS x86_64
