Seems like I've found the reason: I've repaired my phone and had two of them in the list. removing second phone item (labeled as disconnected) seemed to fix the issue.

reopening with question: can't extension by itself remove duplicates?

I'd really love it. I love leaving my desktop with wallpaper fullscreen. I hide panels and switch to new workspace. launch apps with super key. would absolutely love clean wallpaper...

just FYI you can apply this patch manually without recompiling the extension. just edit `~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/material-shell@papyelgringo/extension.js`, search by class name `MsApplicationLauncher`, comment the same strings and log out. comments are double-slash...

have same issue when using nginx proxy with TLS. direct 8008 access works. maybe it is related to address name? it expects localhost, but gets whatever proxy is passing. also...

I've noticed that locking and unlocking screen also fixes it on Wayland.

I'm on Fedora 38 Wayland, too, and have no such issues. I use sleep very often, tho I have S3 sleep. is you laptop S3 sleep or windows sleep?
