Seems like it still is possible to notarize outside of the App Store https://developer.apple.com/documentation/security/notarizing_macos_software_before_distribution/customizing_the_notarization_workflow But... *sigh*

@paoloricciuti If you want to add validation maybe it's possible to re-use existing validation libraries like zod? Would be a shame to reinvent the wheel.
