There are a few settings to change for it to work, LibVLC as the player and changing audio output made it work before 0.13 release. The new update "disabled" transcoding...

There was a planned bug fix for this in 0.14.0. The app no longer crashes and should give an error message?

I can see h264_nvenc in the logs. Did you check the Enable hardware decoding for h264 under playback in the dashboard? (/web/index.html#!/encodingsettings.html)

I would deselect enable hardware encoding,h264 and mpeg4

Errors with Subtitles with the log you posted? Doesn't firestick use Android? Jellyfin Android TV has a beta for 0.14.0 https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv/releases/tag/v0.14.0-beta.2

All device supports h264, My only suggestion would be to check your playback settings in jellyfin.
