@kamalmarhubi AFAIK, @djaglowski is [working on](https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector/pull/6700) implementing [his proposal](https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector/issues/2336) which is a superset of ours, supporting even more use-cases.
