I guess the other option is to pin the other way, setting upper bound to the last cellpose 2?

How did you install napari? is this using the bundle?

I think we'll need to write up a description of Transform mode somewhere -- viewer guide? I'd hate to duplicate it for every layer, need to think about this --...

Yeah, same behavior with the keybind alone, so not really fault of this PR. It matches the behavior of Shapes selection/transform mode--switch layers and the shape still shows the selection/transform...

I guess what @jni was suggesting is that if transform mode is enabled for a layer and then selection changes to a different layer, the transform mode overlay has visible...

@dalthviz pulled it down and it works beautifully for me 🥰 ...but I'm too tired to really look at the code. I will try and take a closer look tomorrow.
