Mine's been doing this since the 23rd, too. I'll try to have a poke around at the app tomorrow and see if I can work anything out.
Hmm, I force stopped the app, opened it up again and it still said "Waiting for Scrobble", but just looked back and now they've all scrobbled successfully.

Previously I've just stored the length of the response body from the previous progress event and then pulled out the substring from that index onwards. Speed's never been an issue...
