interesting, what type of hardware was it and what was the HW error? maybe we can blame non-ECC memory for a corruption that led to this.

on the other hand no modules are listed in the crash report. but also interestingly the stack trace is incomplete. could maybe be a memory corruption?

we don't have any way to test it.. i don't mind adding some minor fixes to make redis compile on esoteric platforms, not sure register dump is worth it or...
