We can't reproduce this, so we will close this. If someone has more info, feel free to comment.

Note that we currently DO do this for the root contest endpoint but not for subendpoints like `api/contests/xxx/teams`. We should be consistent.

Now the button doesn't show if a deactivate time is set, even if it is in the future. Is that what we want? I'd say we only hide it if...

I think group makes the most sense? Since self register is also linked to groups.

Best would be if we can make this into an environment variable I think.
