After changing my name on Plex to Michael, it works fine, so it's definitely an encoding issue with the name.

You need to be part of the beta indeed. But I thought only the firmware that gets pushed as part of the beta has this issue with the 0 values.

You could use a template sensor and filter out 0 values. I think I saw some examples passing by in the Comfoconnect topic on the Home Assistant forums.
