The hyperlink is an emacs-only hyperlink. There is no way that I know of to make this a standard hyperlink. The huge number is the message ID for outlook.

You can evaluate lisp in a buffer. Open the file: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mattfidler/r-autoyas.el/master/r-autoyas. in emacs and then type `M-x` `eval-buffer` See if it works.
What version of ESS and emacs are you using?
