I used that PR for my pyjnius build so I _think_ it calls the init.

Any progress on this? I've been using the "patch" of @danxshap and it's been working great.

Not really an answer to your question, but you can use `additionalProperties` to add previously undefined keys, it doesn't have a validation on the key value itself tho.

Not sure if related but we are also seeing the same(ish) error message when our gunicorn workers times out in the newrelic part of the code.
